NOT A TICKETED EVENT! JUST POP ALONG! 

Come along to our very special Dressmakers shop party-day and meet the amazing ladies from Mimiquin and their Brand Ambassador and GB Sewing Bee Star, Lauren.

 Our very special guests, Mia and Jaire from Mimiquins, offer a unique service so you can have a dress makers mannequin made, that is an exact replica of your body. Your 'body double' will be a game changer when fitting clothes you make for yourself. No more dissatisfaction with the fit of your garments.

The mannequin is made out of sustainable materials, with padding and a durable outerlayer, so you can pin and steam fabric. More detailed information about the mannequins please visit the Mimiquins website

It’s going to be an exciting day!

From 11am to 1pm we have a drop-in session when we will have:

FREE cupcakes, some tea available and even a glass of bubbly, why not eh!!!

FREE raffle with great dressmaking and beautiful Mimiquin themed jewellery prizes.

Mimiquin Brand Ambassador, and Sewing Bee Star, Lauren will be available with her own body double. You will have the chance to chat to her about her fab experience of using her Mimiquin mannequin; and maybe listen to some behind the scenes, Sewing Bee tales. Fingers crossed!

Rumour has it that another sewing bee might just buzz by and join the shop party!!!

Gwen (our dressmaking tutor) from Sew Sure is having the full body scan and will be happy to chat about the experience.

The shop is open as normal but we will have lots of special shop party deals on offer. Fabric, haberdashery and sewing patterns.
